Friday, October 23, 2009 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (PT)
Are you part of a non-profit? Interested in blogging or using Twitter, Facebook & other social media tools for your organization, but not sure how to measure results, plan a campaign, or whether you have the time? This one-day event is the best starting place if you have these questions; join us for a day of high-quality, low-cost workshops tailored to your needs, right in downtown Oakland.
We are still building out our workshops list, but it will most likely include:
Who this is for: Members of non-profits and community organizations who have thought about using blogging and social media, but have not, and organizers who are using social media but would like to sharpen their skills and learn how to plan and measure a campaign.
We ask for a $10 donation for entry. However, no-one will be refused admission for lack of funds. Pay what you can, or volunteer to help. We can use help with promotion, food sponsorships, and more. Contact info@techliminal.com if you'd like to help.
Made up of representatives from Oakland Local, Spot.Us, and other local media and journalism organizations, The Public Media Collaborative seeks to provide training and education in online media to people around the Bay Area.
